Our goal is to increase funding and investment in agriculture, and accelerate the execution and impact of investment commitments. The aim of the agripreneur support programme is to enable SMEs to realise the potential of the agriculture sector for economic growth and job creation.

Sustainable development of the sector across Africa will be driven by agrientrepreneurs. However many entrepreneurs face huge challenges - from obtaining initial funding and accessing essential skills, to understanding market access and operating a sustainable business. The core mission of the AAC is to support suitable SME’s on this journey from startup to sustainable success - success which will create employment, ensure food security and contribute to societal development.

We encourage the combination of innovation with entrepreneurship to develop agribusiness across the continent. We identify bankable projects, conduct due diligence and assign respective teams (investment, project development and operational management) to improve and secure ROI and governance.

Our aim is to invest in projects under $5 million that can have measurable impact and can create meaningful, transformative change in African agriculture.

The programme will assist the project owner or entrepreneur with operational capability, technical expertise and internal financial controls to implement our transformative agenda.

The AAC works with project owners and developers in matching projects with investors for capital raise, assisting with due diligence and pitch preparation, project initiation, and support throughout the full deal cycle.
